Dr. Marquez is a Clinical Psychologist with a private practice in Brooklyn, NY. She received her degree from Pace University and advanced clinical training at NYU-Woodhull Medical and Mental Health Center in Brooklyn, NY.
Her more recent professional experiences include working with senior residents of long-term nursing and rehabilitation facilities, and previously, with a community based crisis intervention team serving the North Brooklyn area. These experiences have strengthened and expanded Dr. Marquez's skills in crisis management, collaboration, and direct intervention. |

She believes that life extends beyond a brief therapy session of time, and that oftentimes individual concerns require additional access to community resources. She sees her role as a liaison between the individual and community. Dr. Marquez will work to help you coordinate existing resources and provide new resources when appropriate.
Her life extends beyond the therapy hour as well. When she's not working, Michelle can be found making a mess in her kitchen testing new recipes, curled up with a good book, or chasing her dog Maggie around the park.
